Warm, Welcome
Check-In

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our friendly front desk team. We strive to make you feel at ease from the moment you walk through our doors.

Our staff will assist you with the check-in process and help you complete any necessary paperwork. For your convenience, new patient forms can also be filled out online prior to your appointment.

Comprehensive Health
History Review

One of our primary goals is to understand your overall health and how it relates to your dental care. The first time with meet, we'll take some time separate conference room to get to know you as a person, what brought you here, and let you get to know me!

We also review your health history and past dental records so that our team has a complete picture of your health up to this point. We want to care for your overall health through excellent dental care.

Thorough Dental
Examination

Dr. Mary Glasheen will conduct a comprehensive dental examination. This includes:


  • Visual Examination: Checking for cavities, tooth decay, gum disease, and other dental issues.
  • Digital X-Rays: Utilizing advanced digital imaging technology to get a detailed view of your teeth and jaw structure. Digital X-rays are faster and emit less radiation than traditional X-rays.
  • Oral Cancer Screening: Examining your mouth for any signs of oral cancer as part of our routine check-up.
  • Periodontal Assessment: Evaluating the health of your gums and checking for signs of periodontal disease.
  • Joint and muscle exam: Part of your TMD evaluation.

Personalized Treatment
Plan

Based on the findings from your examination, Dr. Glasheen will discuss your oral health status with you,explain any issues discovered, and recommend appropriate treatments.

Together, you will create a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your dental needs and goals. We believe in patient education and will take the time to answer all your questions regarding treatment and finances.

Professional
Cleaning

For most people, a professional cleaning by our skilled dental hygienist will follow your examination. This includes:


  • Plaque and Tartar Removal: Using specialized tools to remove plaque and tartar buildup that regular brushing and flossing cannot eliminate.
  • Teeth Polishing: Polishing your teeth to remove surface stains and leave your smile sparkling.
  • Fluoride Treatment: If necessary, a fluoride treatment will be applied to help strengthen your teeth and prevent decay.

Be sure to bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes and smooth check-in process.  Also, be prepared with your medical and dental history records so that we can help care for your overall health!

Though we are a fee-for-service practice, we can help you understand your insurance benefits. Send your information prior to your appointment and we can get you a personalized cost estimate.

We collect for services at each appointment. We accept cash, credit cards, CareCredit, and checks. We also have in-house dental plan options to fit your specific needs.
